What To Do If You Slide
Course of action to take when a tarnished year-end report card darkens your mailbox.

I honestly can’t think of a more involved year in a student’s high school career than the junior year. Why? Because there are so many stresses overshadowing one’s potential college career - like standardized tests, harder classes and the all-important college search. As most guidance counselors will agree, the junior year is most crucial in the eyes of admissions counselors everywhere. The difficulty of course load, grades and test scores are carefully reviewed and evaluated to help predict one’s potential performance in college.

But what if your grades happen to slide in that all-too crucial year? Don’t begin rehearsing different ways to say, “Would you like fries with that?” just yet. Here’s a course of action to take should a tarnished year-end report card darken your mailbox.
